![]() Afrah is a Senior Manager in KPMG in the Crown Dependencies’ tax practice. Afrah started her career in KPMG Sri Lanka in 2011 and has over a decade’s experience working in both the audit and tax functions of the firm. Afrah specialises in local and international tax advisory work for clients across various industries, primarily on planning associated with group restructures, inbound and outbound investment structuring, cross border transactions, tax health-checks and liaising with tax authorities on behalf of clients, in addition to her involvement in general tax compliance services to clients. Her experience spans across several sectors mainly Trading, Logistics, Investment, Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Manufacturing, Power & Energy, Leisure, Infrastructure and Services. Since joining KPMG in Guernsey in 2022, Afrah has continued to be involved in a wide variety of domestic and international tax engagements, including those focusing on Economic Substance reviews, working for clients across the KPMG Islands Group network. |

Alessandra's expertise extends to tax structuring, analysis, and evaluation of complex structures and arrangements across multiple jurisdictions to support clients in navigating the global tax landscape effectively, including analysis of recently introduced rules impacting international affairs (e.g. economic substance, Pillar 2). Alessandra is currently based in the Cayman Islands, and primarily works with the offshore teams of Jersey, Guernsey and Bermuda, among others. |
