2026 Directors Foundation Programme

Description

The 2026 Directors’ Foundation Programme provides new, aspiring and current directors with a comprehensive grounding in the core principles, responsibilities and practical realities of modern directorship across international financial centres. Designed to build confidence, competence and sound judgment, the programme brings together the essential elements of global governance, regulatory expectations, board operations, financial literacy and personal director risk.

Through a series of focused sessions, participants explore how governance frameworks differ across jurisdictions, what effective boards look like in practice, and how to interpret multi-jurisdictional board information to support robust decision-making. The programme also demystifies the mechanics of governance documentation, clarifies directors’ duties and liabilities worldwide, and provides practical guidance on navigating culture, conduct and ethical expectations in cross-border environments.

The programme is delivered live online via Microsoft TEAMS and recorded where possible. Each webinar provides 1-hour of CPD.
