Andy is part of the senior management team and Head of Financial Crime Compliance (MLRO/MLCO) for Santander International which operates branches in the UK, Jersey and the Isle of Man. Andy has worked in offshore finance for nearly 40 years during which time he has worked in both local and international law firms and trust companies in a variety of assurance, compliance and financial crime roles together with working as a regulator with the Jersey Financial Services Commission. Andy is a Fellow of International Compliance Association, a Chartered member of the Chartered Securities & Investment Institute, an Associate member of the Chartered Management Institute and a full STEP member by examination and previous secretary of the STEP Jersey Branch as well as being a previous Treasurer of the JCOA. Andy sits on a numerous industry/government working groups and helped to establish was a previous chair and remains a member of the Jersey Bankers Association Financial Crime & Conduct Committee. Outside of work Andy is a keen cyclist and has undertaken several significant charity rides recently including riding a thousand miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats and across the Pyrenees to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey. |
