Description
The 2023 Financial Regulation Programme provides an accessible overview of financial regulation designed for staff in financial services firms. Based on a successful certificate level qualification for regulators, the series consists of 6 x 1-hour webinars led by an expert tutor, Darren Boschat, covering everything from the principles of financial regulation to enforcement and financial crime.
The programme includes a 15-minute Q&A session after each presentation, encouraging interactive learning and ensuring participants get the most out of the experience. Darren is a regulatory consultant specialising in helping businesses achieve a more structured and practical approach to identifying, measuring and treating their compliance risks. His background includes over 15 years in senior roles at the JFSC spanning banking, securities, trust and supervisory risk. He has extensive experience of supervisory processes and helped design the JFSC´s supervisory risk model and the supporting guidance used by staff. Darren is the lead author and senior lecturer of the International Certificate in Financial Regulation, a professional qualification for regulators. |
