Co-Founder & barrister-at-law at Celerity Chambers

Antish Maroam 

Antish is a barrister-at-law and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with more than 10 years of experience in taxation, structuring, corporate and financial services. He was awarded the Chevening Scholarship in 2016 and completed an LLM Tax Law from the Queen Mary, University of London. He also holds an Advance Diploma in International Taxation. He has local and international experience through his time at PwC Mauritius, the World Bank Group, Abax Corporate Services (now Ocorian Corporate Services), the Mantu Group and recently Eversheds-Sutherland Mauritius. Antish’s experience ranges from the re-structuring of multinational groups for tax efficiency, advising on tax reporting requirements, assisting on the tax aspects during M&A transactions and representing taxpayers at the Assessment Review Committee. He has migrated to private practice as from 1st July 2023 and co-founded Celerity Chambers.
