![]() Louise is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Consultant, and Head of Tax Reporting and Client AML Services at Mourant Governance Services in the Cayman Islands. She leads the firm’s support for all tax-related reporting obligations for Cayman Islands entities, including Economic Substance, CRS, FATCA, and CbCR. Before joining Mourant, Louise served as Head of Compliance at the Department for International Tax Cooperation within the Cayman Islands Government. In this role, she was responsible for the oversight of compliance across all tax information reporting and exchange mechanisms, ensuring their effectiveness in accordance with international standards. She also administered the legal framework for economic substance requirements, including managing assessments and reviews. A key aspect of her role involved direct engagement with international standard-setting and review bodies on tax matters. Prior to her public sector experience, Louise worked as a tax adviser for over a decade at two of the Big Four accountancy firms. She currently serves as an appointed member of the executive committee of the Cayman Islands Compliance Association. |
