Mark has built an impressive career in the financial services and ethics fields. He served as the Deputy Director of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, where he led investment regulation policies. Mark also played significant roles within the ACCA, contributing as the Chair of the Global Business Law technical forum and a member of both the Corporate Reporting and Global Business Ethics forums. At EY, he led the Guernsey assurance team and was part of an initiative that pushed the company towards sustainability, Recently, Mark led a regulatory consulting team in Guernsey until the end of February 2024. Starting March 2024, he takes on a new role as Director – Head of Financial Crime at Apex Group. Alongside his professional achievements, Mark is involved with the Rewley Circle at Oxford's Said Business School and has an Executive Master from ESCP Business School, focusing on stablecoins. He's currently pursuing a Ph.D. at ESCP, researching decentralized finance (DeFi), showcasing his continuous dedication to advancing financial knowledge and ethics. |
