Helen has over 25 years’ experience in audit, advisory and regulation within the financial services sector. As a standard setter, regulator and Big 4 audit partner, she has led professional services firms towards purpose-led outcomes that build trust in the profession. Whilst an audit partner at Deloitte, she led the Jersey practice and was the statutory audit partner to FTSE 250 companies and entities within the private equity and investment management sector. In her current role at the Financial Reporting Council, Helen oversees culture and conduct in the audit market, with a focus on ensuring the consistent delivery of quality audits in the public interest and the highest ethical standards. She has led thematic reviews and written thought leadership on professional scepticism and challenge and was part of a working group that developed the FRC’s Professional Judgement Framework. |
