Combatting Problem Gambling: Financial Institutions’ Role in Responsible Gaming Initiatives
Description
Problem gambling causes severe financial distress, personal hardship, and social harm. Regulators expect gambling operators and financial institutions to monitor and mitigate these risks through robust controls. By understanding behavioural and financial risk factors, banks can identify vulnerable customers and collaborate with gaming operators to reduce harm. Implementing effective player protection measures and directing affected individuals toward professional support services are essential to promoting responsible gaming and safeguarding wellbeing.
This webinar provides one-hour of CPD and offers insights and updates from a leading industry-expert speaker.
