Chris Usher 

Chris is the Managing Director at the School of International Financial Services (SIFS), a leading provider of training and education in offshore financial services across 15 jurisdictions globally. He has over 25 years of experience in offshore financial services, having previously held senior wealth management roles at Barclays Wealth and Santander, where he advised private clients and corporates on complex global investment solutions and wealth structuring. Chris is currently also a Director at Cavenwell Group. With a deep understanding of geopolitical and economic dynamics, Chris helps clients navigate the changing international wealth structuring landscape and optimise tax efficiency. Chris has trained over 6,000 people in qualifications for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) in wealth management and is a well-regarded member of the Institute. He also serves on the committee of the Channel Islands Wealth Managers Association and is a member of the Institute of Directors.


Jeremy Swetenham

As Director, Sales and Channel Partnerships, Jeremy manages enterprise and partner relationships for RiskScreen.

Jeremy obtained a BEng Hons in Electronic Engineering from Edinburgh, served in the British Army (becoming Chief Technical Training Officer for the Royal Armoured Corps) and has specialised in enterprise services for scale-up telecommunications and technology service providers. 

Jeremy has deep technical expertise and a thorough understanding of risk management through the application of people, processes, and technology. He has a wide array of experience in both commercial and cultural enterprises. He works with organisations to efficiently and effectively demonstrate that they have carried out the appropriate checks and helps them to achieve optimal financial crime compliance performance with maximum efficiency.


Amanda Reilly

Amanda Reilly 

In her current role, Amanda is Compliance Officer and Head of Compliance, Jersey.  Her responsibilities include ensuring the business complies with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining and improving an effective control framework, and promoting and influencing a strong compliance culture.  Amanda sits on the Board of TMF Group (Jersey) Limited.

Amanda has extensive  financial services experience, having worked in the industry for over 30 years.  She has undertaken a wide variety of roles, focusing on compliance related positions since August 2014.

Prior to joining TMF Group Amanda was part of the Senior Leadership Team at the Jersey Financial Services Commission, spending 6 years heading up examination units and the teams responsible for supervising regulated businesses.

Amanda is a member of the Institute of Directors and holds a number of professional qualifications including those in financial services management, anti-money laundering, compliance and governance; as well as leadership, coaching and mentoring.

Gary Youinou

Gary Youinou 

The founder of KnowYourCountry. With over 35 years experience in the offshore financial industry, including directorships on companies listed on various stock exchanges, several large alternative investment funds, and the largest registrar company in the Channel Islands, Gary has an extensive knowledge of financial, banking and compliance procedures. He has also travelled in many of the deemed 'high-risk' countries.

Gary provides consultancy services to KYC Worldwide, a risk verification CDD provider to regulated businesses.


William Grace

William advises Jersey finance industry clients and international clients on financial services related disputes whether civil, criminal, contentious regulatory or a combination. This includes advisory work and advocacy. His specific expertise is in advising on money laundering matters (including corruption), regulatory and compliance investigations, disputes in the banking and trusts sectors, sanctions, production orders including TIEA work, insider dealing, reporting duties, asset recovery, reciprocal enforcement, cyber related risk and international mutual assistance generally.

He places particular emphasis on working alongside clients and their in-house lawyers/compliance staff and other external advisers to implement risk management based solutions to disputes in the regulated sector. He is experienced in politically sensitive and complex matters involving multiple legal issues and jurisdictions. He often advises on higher risk business in the financial services regulated sector, whether that is in client take on, transactional support or M&A support.

In addition to acting for Jersey regulated financial services businesses, he also acts for PLCs, individuals and foreign states.

He is a member of the Royal Court Rules Committee advising and assisting the Royal Court in its rule making capacity
