John is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in Wealth Management and joined SIFS in 2024 to transition into the realm of professional education and training. Having spend 8 years working across Private Banking and Investment Management, John has honed his skills in financial advisory, investment strategies, and client relationship management within the dynamic field of Wealth Management.

John has successfully navigated clients through the complexities of financial markets, guiding them towards their financial goals with precision and expertise. John’s experience encompasses a wide range of financial products and services, coupled with a deep understanding of market trends and investment opportunities. 

John is a Chartered Fellow with the CISI and holds a First Class Honours Degree in International Financial Services from the University of Buckingham.

John Salmon 

John Salmon is a highly experienced information technology (IT) lawyer with a market-leading reputation in the financial services sector. His main focus is advising financial institutions on their strategic IT projects and he supports his clients in implementing innovative digital and technology solutions whilst managing legal and regulatory risk. John has a leading reputation as a lawyer in the FinTech area and has been heavily involved with leading-edge developments. John has been actively involved in developing industry-wide solutions particularly in the sharing of data. Recently he has been heavily involved with open banking and open finance, having advised the Open Banking Implementation Entity in the UK since its inception including as interim general counsel.

John leads Hogan Lovells Digital Assets and Blockchain practice and has advised major banks and startups in this area. He spends a great deal of time educating regulators, policy makers and clients in the area of blockchain and crypto and has spoken to the European Parliament, IOSCO and many governments on this area.

In addition, John has extensive experience of drafting and negotiating both customer and supplier IT services contracts, including for development projects, software licensing, cloud, and systems integration.

Anne-Gabrielle Haie advises clients on a wide range of digital-related matters, with a strong focus on data protection, privacy and cybersecurity. In addition, she has developed considerable expertise on AI and blockchain.

She advises clients on compliance with EU laws and risk management. Anne-Gabrielle also has strong experience advising clients on data privacy and cybersecurity issues related to strategic transactions and commercial negotiations. She further assists clients with cybersecurity preparedness and response to data breaches and other security incidents.

Anne-Gabrielle's practice include representing clients in enforcement and litigation actions before European supervisory authorities and courts.

Her clients include multinationals, start-ups and scaleups in diverse industries, and she has a strong track record in the Life Sciences and Technology sectors.
