With over 25 years of leadership experience spanning South Africa, the broader African continent, and international markets, Dr Nyakatawa is a recognised authority in cross-border business and financial services. She holds both an MBA and a PhD in the internationalisation of businesses from the University of Cape Town. She is the author of Doing Business in Africa and a contributing writer to the 11th edition of The Practical Guide to Offshore Investments, further cementing her reputation as a thought leader dedicated to Africa’s economic advancement. A seasoned professional, she is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), and the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA). She is also an international speaker on key industry topics and serves as a Non-Executive Director on various boards, including financial services bodies such as the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) and on the STEP Accreditation Committee.
