Drawing on recent supervisory reviews, the session also highlights common DFSA findings, practical lessons learned, and key areas firms should prioritise to strengthen incident management and regulatory compliance.

Renasche Oliver 

Rensche joined Vistra as Governance Risk and Compliance Director in November 2022. She heads the Governance, Risk and Compliance consultancy team based from Vistra's Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices.

Rensche is well-seasoned and financially astute in Risk, Governance, Compliance and Sustainability. She has 17+ years of experience across various geographies. She leads from the front and has extensive experience in establishing and growing new Practice specialisms and leading high-performing teams.

Prior to joining Vistra, Rensche worked in several well-known multinational institutions across the UK, USA, Africa and the Middle East.

Rensche holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Risk Management from North West University. She also holds several industry-related compliance and risk management professional qualifications.

Rensche is fluent in Afrikaans and English.
